Workwell Adds Oncore to Strengthen APAC Contingent Workforce Management

Oncore’s 25 years of APAC expertise joins Workwell’s global employer of record infrastructure, extending compliant contingent workforce management solutions across every continent.

Workwell Group has acquired Oncore, a leading provider of contingent workforce management and payment solutions in Australia and across the APAC region. The acquisition expands Workwell’s operational footprint in Australia and New Zealand and strengthens support for clients who need to hire, pay, and manage talent across Asia-Pacific with speed and compliance.

For Workwell North America clients, the takeaway is straightforward: faster access to APAC markets with a larger on-the-ground team and deeper delivery capacity. Oncore’s regional expertise, built over 25 years, now operates alongside Workwell’s global infrastructure and long-standing human capital management capabilities.

This acquisition is designed to reduce friction for organizations looking to expand internationally. With Oncore now a part of the Workwell Group, clients now have expanded APAC access with a stronger foothold in Australia and New Zealand allowing for smoother entry into key Asian-Pacific markets. This also means that Employer of Record (EOR), Managed Service Provider (MSP), and Independent Contractor (IC) solutions are now delivered through one team and one contract reducing client’s administrative burden. Oncore also brings deep regional leadership and operational expertise, now strengthened by Workwell Group’s global delivery model and resources.

With Oncore joining the group, Workwell now has a presence on every continent giving clients greater reach, stronger resources, and built-in compliance support for global growth.

“We are delighted to welcome Oncore to the Workwell Group,” said John Hoskin, CEO of Workwell. “This acquisition represents a significant milestone in our strategy to build a truly global presence. By combining Oncore’s proven regional leadership with our extensive global infrastructure and recent acquisitions in North America and Europe, we are now uniquely positioned to offer our customers seamless EOR and AOR services on every continent.”

Damian Bridge, CEO of Oncore, emphasized the client impact of the combination, noting that Workwell’s scale and expertise paired with Oncore’s regional strength will help customers navigate the complexity of the modern workforce with more support and capability.

Workwell Group supports over 2,000 B2B customers, operates in 150 countries, and reports an annual turnover of approximately $2B USD, with a track record of 18 acquisitions. The Oncore acquisition builds on recent growth in North America and Europe and establishes a cornerstone presence in Australia for global delivery.
